【Product Overview】
Japan Nogawa Chemical DIABOND® No.1603HFR flame-retardant neoprene adhesive
DIABOND No.1603HFR is a high-performance one-component chloroprene rubber adhesive specially developed by Japan's Nokawa Chemical for electrical components, audio precision equipment and flame-retardant industrial fields. After curing, the adhesive film has excellent flame-retardant and self-extinguishing properties, strong initial bonding strength, excellent water resistance and aging resistance, and is suitable for high-reliability bonding of metal, rubber, wood, leather and composite materials.
【Core Features & Advantages】
Flame-retardant: Specially developed flame-retardant film formula to meet strict electrical and fire safety standards.
Excellent initial tack (High Initial Tack): It can quickly establish grip after bonding, and the curing time is short, which greatly improves the assembly efficiency of the production line.
Excellent temperature and weather resistance: Softening temperature after curing up to Above 200°C, wide range of cold and heat resistance (excellent test performance from -20°C to 80°C), excellent aging resistance.
One-component and convenient construction: Ready to use after opening the can, no need to mix additional curing agent, good brushing and leveling properties, suitable for industrial assembly line operations.
Wide material adaptability: Extremely high peel strength for steel plates, painted plates, natural rubber, leather, wood and various base materials.
【Typical application areas】
Electronic, Electrical & Audio Precision Manufacturing: Speaker/horn component fixing, insulation and flame-retardant bonding fixation of transformer coils and various electronic components.
Transportation industry: Bonding of interiors and engineering materials that have clear requirements for flame retardancy and fire protection levels in automobile interiors, rail vehicles, and ships.
General industrial and composite processing: High-strength structural lamination of rubber and metal composites, wood, leather, stone and fabrics.

[Standard Usage Guide & Process Steps]
Substrate pretreatment: Be sure to clean the bonded surface, thoroughly remove moisture, oil, rust and dust, and keep the surface dry and smooth.
Apply adhesive evenly: Use a brush or adhesive application tool to evenly apply adhesive to Two bonding surfaces.
Recommended coating amount: approximately 150~250 g/m² on one side (approximately 300~500 g/m² on both sides in total).
Leave to dry: After applying adhesive, let it dry at room temperature.5-10 minutes, align and fit after the solvent has evaporated appropriately and the adhesive surface is dry to the touch but still feels sticky.
Pressure curing: Apply sufficient and even pressure after pasting to eliminate air bubbles on the bonding surface to obtain excellent initial bonding strength.
[Storage and Safety Precautions]
Stir evenly: Delamination may occur during storage. Please check before use.Stir thoroughly Apply adhesive later.
Fireproof and antistatic: Contains volatile organic solvents (the first petroleum dangerous goods). Open flames are strictly prohibited in the operating area and excellent ventilation and exhaust conditions are maintained.
Storage conditions: Please keep the container tightly closed and place 5°C-35°C Store in a dry and cool place, avoid direct sunlight.
Cleaning instructions: To clean tools or remove adhesive spillage, you can use solvents such as Toluene.
