Product overview
DIABOND® No.1663GB black high-performance neoprene adhesive
DIABOND No.1663GB is a black one-component neoprene adhesive specially developed by Japan's Nokawa Chemical for the assembly of electrical appliances, audio and precision small parts. The colloid has excellent filament breakage, no stringing during dispensing and painting, and dries quickly. It has outstanding initial grip and excellent heat resistance, cold resistance and chemical resistance. It has outstanding performance in electronic audio and industrial manufacturing.
Core Features and Benefits
Excellent resistance to wire drawing and wire breakage: Adhesive dispensing is smooth and simple, avoiding wire drawing in the production line from contaminating the workpiece, and the workability is excellent.
Quick drying and strong initial adhesion: It only takes about 3 minutes to surface dry, and can quickly establish initial positioning strength after fitting, improving assembly efficiency.
Excellent temperature and weather resistance: After complete curing, the softening temperature can reach over 200°C, and it has stable cold resistance (-20°C), water resistance and chemical resistance.
Wide material compatibility: Can form high-strength bonding with metal, rubber (CR/SBR/natural rubber), cotton canvas, wood, leather, etc.
Typical application areas
Speaker and audio manufacturing: Bonding and fixing of the speaker frame, cone, and central part (dust cap/elastic wave, etc.).
Electronics, Optics and Precision Manufacturing: Assembly and bonding of small electrical components, precision structural parts and handicrafts.
General industrial bonding: High-strength mutual adhesion of dissimilar substrates such as metal, rubber, wood, stone, leather, and glass.

Instructions for use and construction steps
Substrate cleaning: Thoroughly remove moisture, oil, dust and impurities from the surface of the adherend to ensure the surface is clean and dry.
Even coating: Use tools such as a brush or dropper to evenly apply adhesive on both sides to be bonded. The recommended coating amount is approximately 150-250 g/m².
Leave to dry: Leave to dry at room temperature.5-10 minutes, wait for the solvent to evaporate appropriately, then you can align and fit.
Pressure curing: After bonding, apply sufficient pressure and compact it tightly to obtain a strong and lasting bonding effect.
Notes and storage
Stir evenly: In order to ensure the bonding quality, please stir thoroughly before opening the can and then apply adhesive.
Dilution and cleaning: If dilution is required, please use special 6TH diluent; To clean working tools, you can use toluene or paint diluting solvents.
Fire protection and ventilation: This product contains flammable solvents. Fireworks are strictly prohibited at the work site, and ventilation and exhaust facilities must be provided.
Airtight storage: The product must be kept tightly sealed in the original container and placed in a dry, cool place.
