HIGER BOND HB-1680 is a high-performance single-component self-extinguishing flame-retardant electronic yellow glue based on chloroprene rubber (Chloroprene Rubber). The appearance of this product is non-transparent yellow-white mucus with high consistency, specially developed to meet the high standards of flame retardant safety of equipment in the electronics, electrical appliances and motor industries.

HB-1680 passed the U.S.UL 94V-0 flame retardant certification (File No. E117973), and fully complies with EU RoHS/WEEE environmental standards, and does not contain heavy metals such as lead and mercury and brominated flame retardants such as PBB and PBDE.. The product dries quickly and forms quickly (drying time to touch is about 3 minutes), combining excellent electrical insulation properties, anti-vibration buffering and mechanical shear strength, widely used in bonding and fixing components and anti-vibration and dust-proof insulation of various switching power supplies, adapters, monitors and home appliance motherboards

  1. Surface preparation:Make sure there is no dust, moisture, grease, dirt or any impurities attached to the surface. Glue before use pleaseBe sure to mix thoroughly

  2. Gluing operation:

    • Component positioning:It can be used with manual or pneumatic dispensing equipment to directly inject glue at the contact point between the component root and the circuit board.

    • Surface bonding:Use a brush or roller to apply a thin layer of glue to the surface of the material; If the surface is rough or uneven, please apply moderate pressure when painting to ensure that the glue completely fills and covers the gaps.

  3. Drying and fitting:After applying the glue, let it sit for a few minutes to wait for the surface to dry and harden., then put the two adhesive surfaces together and apply a certain amount of pressure to make them in close contact.

  4. Fully cured:Recommendations after bonding is completeLet sit for 24 hours, to achieve the best bonding quality and shear strength

  5. Safety and storage:

    • This product contains organic solvents. The construction site must have good ventilation and exhaust facilities to avoid prolonged inhalation of steam and contact with skin.

    • Fireworks and sparks are strictly prohibited

    • When not in use, please seal the lid tightly and store in a cool, dry and dark place.
