Product overview
YT-401 is a high-performance, single-component solvent-based transparent thread fixing and anti-loosening adhesive based on synthetic resin. It is specially developed for thread locking of precision electronic components and camera optical modules. It is fully benchmarked and can directly replace the industry classic ThreeBond 1401 (TB1401) series.
After this product is applied to the threads of screws or fasteners, the solvent evaporates at room temperature and dries quickly to form a film, forming a resin film with excellent elasticity and strong adhesion in the interlocking gaps of the threads. The adhesive film can resist loosening caused by vibration and impact for a long time, and has good anti-rust, moisture-proof and sealing insulation properties. It also has excellent disassembly. During later equipment maintenance or focus adjustment repair, it can be unscrewed by applying regular torque without damaging the screw threads and surrounding precision plastic parts.

Moderate torque, easy disassembly and repair: It is a detachable screw adhesive with moderate destructive torque. It can be unscrewed using a standard manual or electric screwdriver during rework and maintenance, and the residual adhesive is easy to clean.

Construction technology and usage suggestions
Surface cleaning: Before applying adhesive, make sure the thread surface is clean and dry, free of excessive cutting oil, anti-rust grease and dust impurities.
Dispensing coating:
Pre-coating method: Apply a dot of adhesive to the bite area of the screw thread and then screw it into the screw hole;
Post-coating method: After the screws are tightened and positioned, apply a drop of adhesive directly on the edge of the nut and the mating base, and the adhesive will automatically penetrate into the gap.
Drying and curing: After gluing, let it dry for about 5 to 10 minutes before moving to the next process. For optimal curing bonding strength, it is recommended to leave it at room temperature for 24 hours before testing.
Safety and storage: This product contains organic solvents and is flammable. The gluing area must have good ventilation facilities and open flames are strictly prohibited. Please tighten the bottle cap in time after use to avoid solvent evaporation and thickening of the colloid viscosity.
