ThreeBond 1121It is a high-performance product based on modified polyester resin.Non-drying, solvent-free paste liquid gasket (sealant)

This product does not contain any volatile organic solvents, so it will not age, harden or shrink over time.. Due to its unique "non-drying" properties (it does not solidify after coating), the sealed mechanical parts can be easily disassembled during later maintenance, significantly reducing maintenance costs and cleaning hours.. At the same time, it has no corrosive effect on rubber and plastic, and is especially suitable for industrial sealing conditions that require frequent disassembly and maintenance, large joint area flanges, and use with solid gaskets.

  • High voltage resistance and thermal shock resistance:Normal temperature flange pressure resistance up to90 kg/cm², the pressure resistance still remains after the -40℃ ~ 100℃ hot and cold cycle test.70 kg/cm²

  • Good coating performance on large areas:The paste has a moderate texture and has excellent ductility on large-area joints, ship hatch covers and large-sized equipment flanges.

[Technical tolerance and experimental data]

1. Flange pressure resistance test (JIS-K-2213 turbine oil medium)

  • Normal temperature and pressure resistance: 90 kg/cm²

  • 80℃ pressure resistance: 70 kg/cm²

  • 150℃ pressure resistance: 65 kg/cm²

  • Pressure resistance after hot and cold cycles:After alternating cycles from -40℃ (2h) to 100℃ (3h), the flange pressure resistance remains at70 kg/cm²

2. Chemical resistance (JIS-K-6820 test standard)

  • Water resistance (90~95℃ circulating water immersion):Weight change rate is only -5.5%

  • Oil resistance (soaked in No. 2 rubber lubricating oil at 95~100℃ for 24 hours):Weight change rate is only +1.7%

  • Gasoline resistance (soaked in No. 1 automotive gasoline at 45~50℃ for 24 hours):Exhibits excellent resistance to fuel swelling and dissolution

  2. Equipment that requires regular disassembly and maintenance:Various types of gearbox covers, reducer joints, drain cocks and filter joints that require periodic opening and inspection

  3. Large area joint surface:Large flat flange seals for various large machine tools and casting boxes

[Recommended usage methods and construction precautions]

  1. Joint surface cleaning:Please thoroughly remove old sealant residue, oil, dust and moisture from the joint surface before use.
