Product Overview

ThreeBond 1207B is a one-component black liquid gasket (silicone sealant) based on silicone rubber.. After the product comes into contact with moisture in the air, it can spontaneously react and solidify at room temperature into a silicone rubber solid with excellent elasticity, without the need to add additional curing agents, accelerators or heat treatment.

The elastomer formed after curing has extremely high cold resistance, heat resistance and electrical insulation properties, and can be used in-60℃ to +250℃Long-term stable mechanical properties and sealing effect under wide temperature range conditions. The solvent-free formula has extremely low shrinkage and no flow characteristics, making it ideal for filling and sealing flanges and mechanical joints with large gaps.

Construction methods and usage precautions

  1. Surface cleaning:Before gluing, the oil, moisture, dust and residual glue from the old sealing gasket must be completely removed from the joint surface, and the surface must be kept dry.

  2. Apply glue evenly:Apply the glue evenly and continuously to the joint parts. This product will not sag and supports vertical or upward coating.

  3. Material pit avoidance:This product pairsCopper and copper alloys have a tendency to corrode, please avoid using it directly on the copper substrate contact surface;Cannot be used for tap water or domestic hot water drinking water pipes;Not for use in medical implants

  4. Electrical contact description:This product is an insulator and must not be directly applied to electrical conductive contacts.

  5. Storage environment:After use, please tighten the tube cap/sealing tube mouth immediately and store it in a dark, low-humidity and ventilated place at 10 ~ 25°C.
