Product Overview
ThreeBond 1215 is a one-component gray liquid gasket (silicone sealant) based on silicone rubber.. This product can spontaneously react and solidify at room temperature after contact with moisture in the air, without adding curing agents, accelerators or heating.. During the hardening process, its bonding strength continues to increase, eventually transforming into a rubber-like solid with excellent elasticity.。
The elastomer formed after curing has excellent cold resistance, heat resistance and weather resistance.-60℃ to +250℃It can maintain its original stable physical properties and sealing state for a long time in an extremely wide temperature range.. The product adopts a solvent-free formula, has almost no shrinkage in volume, and has good anti-sag properties (Non-sag). It is especially suitable for sealing various flange surfaces, large-area mating surfaces and large gaps. It can also be used in conjunction with solid gaskets.。

80℃ high temperature pressure resistance: ≥ 100 kg/cm²

Pressure resistance after alternating hot and cold cycles: ≥ 100 kg/cm²(The flange is frozen at -40℃ for 2 hours, then heated at +100℃ for 3 hours, and tested after cooling)。
2. Chemical stability against media (JIS K6820 test piece immersion test)

Construction methods and usage precautions
Clean the surface:Before gluing, remove oil, carbon deposits, old glue residue and moisture from the joint surface, and keep the surface dry.。
Instant assembly:After the tape coating is completed,It is recommended to align and tighten components immediately。
